Congress President Sonia Gandhi appoints Shivamogga's Srinivas BV as Youth Congress President

Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday selected Srinivas B V as the President of the Indian Youth Congress, remunerating his diligent effort during the continuous Covid-19 pandemic and the traveler laborers' emergency. 

Srinivas, a local of Shivamogga in Karnataka, had been releasing obligations as the interval leader of the IYC since July 7 a year ago after the sudden acquiescence of the then Chief Keshav Chand Yadav. 

'Congress President has designated B V Srinivas, break President, IYC as the President of the Indian Youth Congress with prompt impact,' AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal said. 

This is the primary significant arrangement by the Congress President after the destruction of Ahmed Patel. 

Srinivas has been at the cutting edge during the pandemic and the traveler emergency and has been connecting with ranchers during the continuous tumult by setting up clinical camps and appropriating food among the protestors. 

'This is the aftereffect of your hardwork and devotion. I express gratitude toward Congress President, Sonia Gandhi ji and Rahul Gandhi ji for empowering dedicated and submitted youth initiative,' Rajeev Satav, previous Youth Congress President, said.
