Karnataka posts 1,238 fresh Covid-19 infections, 12 deaths

 Karnataka's Covid count contacted 8.97 lakh with 1,238 new cases and 12 fatalities being accounted for on Thursday, the wellbeing office said. 


The complete diseases involve 8.66 lakh releases, which incorporate 5,076 recorded on Thursday and 19,206 absolute dynamic cases, a wellbeing notice gave by the division said. The cost rose to 11,912 with 12 related passings. 



Practically all the regions saw decrease in cases, fatalities and releases, including Bengaluru metropolitan area. Bengaluru metropolitan area on Thursday announced 701 diseases and eight passings, the greater part of the all out contaminations and passings of the day in Karnataka.

Wellbeing office said in its release that 53 contaminations were accounted for in Mysuru, 46 in Mandya, 42 in Hassan, 36 in Tumakuru, 35 in Bengaluru Rural, 30 in Dakshina Kannada, 27 in Ballari, 26 in Kalaburagi and 22 in Chitradurga. 


While Bengaluru revealed eight passings, two passings occurred in Dakshina Kannada and one demise each in Ballari and Dharwad. Upwards of 84,270 tests were completed on Thursday including 68,756 utilizing the RT PCR and different strategies, taking the absolute number of tests so far to 1.20 crore, the office added.
